Most likely related to the recession.  If you check investment fund
performances for the last 3 years in Japan, most of them made 53% minus!
Most of the security companies in Tokyo reduced the number of foreign staff
(as they are more expensive).  I guess the Japanese language only Linux
lists should have a whole lot more traffic.
