All Linux lovers, and supporters of open source code and free software are
invited to attend the next Tokyo Linux Users Group meeting. Membership is open
to anyone. There are currently no membership dues or entrance fees.

Topic:  The technical meeting will feature:

SCO versus Linux (and BSD)

IP attorney Douglas Steele will talk about SCO lawsuit claiming
ownership of Linux (and probably BSD).  Beyond their claims for code
ownership, SCO also wants the court to void the General Public License
(GPL).  If SCO wins, the free/open source software ecosystem dies.

Douglas Steele, an Associate at Hunter Hale International, is a member
of the New York bar, TLUG and is also a contributor to XPde, a free
software project.
