In response to my issueZilla filing at OpenOffice about 1.1.0RC5 crashing 
on RedHat9 when inputting Japanese (using the box with all choices), I 
recieved this:


Now what you met is not a problem with ooo but an known problem
with RedHat9's default kinput2 (kinput2-canna-wnn6-v3.1-4.i386.rpm).
 Currently we, ja ooo community, are telling our Japanese Redhat9+ooo users 
that:
1) Buy Commercial RedHat9 with Wnn7
2) Use RedHat8 and update it to RedHat9 when a fixed kinput2 is available
