FeeBSD: Main focus on high stability on the x86 platform, although it
does run on a few others now.

NetBSD: runs on an incredible number of platforms, quite possibly
even more than does Linux. Someday I expect to pull my box
of breakfast cereal from the cabinet and find a label that on it
that says "Runs NetBSD." Also pretty stable, I'm sure. It's a
BSD, after all.

OpenBSD: Emphasis on code auditing and general security.

It has the smallest installed base of the big three BSDs, and is probably
the only piece of software which exceeds qmail for the number of people who
refuse to use it because of its author's personality.
