Don't know if you've seen my page, http://home.nyc.rr.com/computertaijutsu/jpninpt.html but it has a (albeit dated) section on RH. Sigh, I'm too tired to even open my own page and check. Mozilla, on the > other hand keeps most of its English menus. I've always managed to get this, in various distros, by using the langx script mentioned in my page. My recommendation is to use a text login and put the kinput2 -canna in your .Xclients or .Xclients-default, whatever it is.
