Sorry, I sort of hit the reply button before I'd read it all, but: 1. I was recently at the world's biggest one-room LAN. 2. I have ADSL at home. 3. The NIX (Network access point for this entire city) is half a mile from here. So, in other words, could I.... NIX | Wlan | Some friends | Some more friends | Wlan | Me? I've been thinking about doing this for years, I mean, a 54Mbps WAN connection into my house, even if shared with 8 or so people, would sure beat my crappy old ADSL. How do you actually set that up though? Say, hypothetically, that the NIX gives us one IP for each household. So no NATing or anything. But how do you set up the routing bit so that all people involve get their connection from the nix? -- そんなお茶目さんには罰ゲーム生蛸パンツ十分!
