Just in case someone is interested: Two nights ago I was successful in installing the latest Redhat Beta 'Phoebe' on a Sony Vaio PCG-R505DL notebook. The install has to be done via FTP. I have not had time yet to test drive everything, but after install everything seems to be working smoothly, no x-hickups or sound problems. Best Thomas
