I finally got a new monitor (finding cheap monitors in VN is easy, but
finding good ones is not), so I'm back on my Linux box again.

For anyone in the market for a monitor, do take a look at Philips.
The model we got is a 107P.  It's only a 17", but it fits well in our
space and has impressive specs.  Max resolution is 1920 x 1440 (pretty
unusable on a 17" monitor, IMO), but the high spec lets it go 1600 x
1200 at 75 Hz. non-interlaced, and 1280 x 1024 at 85 Hz. non-interlaced,
which is the resolution I'm currently using.

Horizontal sync is 30-96, vertical sync is 50-160, and 
bandwidth is 234 MHz.
