Just need to point out that Brett comes from South Australia, which is the
only part of Oz where kangaroo meat can be legally sold for human consumption.
If you get kangaroo on the menu elsewhere, it (theoretically) has been
shipped in from SA.

This is not a case of the rest of us being squeamish about eating large
furry creatures; it is a result of kangaroos declining to behave docilely
enough to be slaughtered according to prevailing hygiene standards. Seems
that sand-gropers (our endearing term for South Australians) aren't that
fussy.
