'Cuz it sucks? :-p It seems you can choose an auto-wrap setting if you use uuencode or choose no encoding, but if set to base64 or QP, that option is not available, thus leaving me with having to remember to hit enter at the end of every line. Harder to do in a program with soft line wrap than in a nice friendly editor like vi. J
