I used YDL 2.0 for quite a while on an old iMac. I haven't tried the newer versions or on older/slower hardware. You may want to check out Vine for ppc as well, as it is made for the Japanese market. IIRC, one of the recent issues of one of the Linux mags had the Vine ppc version on cd. Couldn't hurt to give it a whirl. Compatibilty chart is here: http://vinelinux.org/ppc/compatibility/ Ted On Monday, October 14, 2002, at 09:36 AM, Jim Tittsler wrote: > Is Yellow Dog Linux still the "top dog" for PPC distributions? > Is anyone using it (or another PPC distribution) on a 603e? > If so, please suggest some pointers to sites about Linux on > slow Macs. :-) > > -- > Jim Tittsler GPG: 0x01159DB6 > Kanto Computer Calendar http://www.OnJapan.net/calendar/ > > > ********************************************************** > TLUG server is hosted by Open Source Development Lab Japan > http://www.osdl.jp/ > ********************************************************** > > ========================================================== > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, > please see instructions at > http://www.tlug.jp/list.html > ========================================================== >
