Hi,

I have an Olympus (C4040), which uses smartmedia device
to store the pictures.
I was on holidays yesterday, and noticed that the "panorama"
function was not available. After some search, I found that
Olympus wants to have an "Olympus header" in the header of the
media - everything is good to sell its own brand :-(
Does someone have an idea on how to alter the CIS header
on Linux? There are maybe some linux-supported smartmedia
readers which could help, but the searches I made did not
give me too much hopes :-(
