Latest news: On Dec. 29, 2001, some unnamed person made the last update to TLUG's home page and said so at the bottom of the page. In March 2002, some poor slob was forced to reveal the location of TLUG's time machine. The intruder first went forward to July 2002 and learned that TLUG obtained a new domain name (tlug.jp), then went back to Dec. 2001 and made a note of this in the home page. Or maybe the order was the other way around, who can tell? In August 2002, some other poor slob was forced to find out if spelling checkers exist for Linux (or for FreeBSD?) and check if they could check spelling on TLUG's home page. This poor slob was comforted by the fact that TLUG's home page doesn't purport to be a dictionary or translation program. So she/he didn't have to be embarrassed the way Fujitsu would be when they wrote on the box of their famous Atlas translation program that it is compatible with "Outlook Expless", or LogoVista would be when they wrote on the box of their nearly-famous translation program that it is compatible with "Internet Exploler", or Technocraft probably wasn't when they advertised an evaluation version of the Roboword electronic "dictionaly" program a year or two ago. Besides, the almost-a-word "Calender" could have been written by a person of any nationality, unlike the other examples quoted here. In July 2002, someone who posted the above news items probably didn't find what he was really looking for on the home page, but for some reason might continue the search anyway.
