There's another one where you were already signed up and could have posted
whatever you wanted.  But the Cabal 2 mailing list is write-only; that's why
you didn't get the welcome message.

The welcome message is in the archives though.  The archives are stored
permanently in write-only memory.  Every Linux machine has a copy.
