[tlug] pasting japanese from other apps into openoffice

hello,

does anyone on this list have their openoffice
setup so as to allow cutting japanese text from,
say, a browser window and pasting into an
openoffice document?

i can create and view japanese docs in openoffice,
and i can cut and paste english just fine, but
cutting and pasting japanese text gives me some
serious mojibake.
