Matt, Grepping lp shows nothing, I used Stephen's suggestion of mc and it comes up with [goripi@example.com goripi]$ rpm -qa | grep mc termcap-11.0.1-10 libtermcap-devel-2.0.8-28 libtermcap-2.0.8-28 I also taken a look at printcap but the DO NOT EDIT! warning has frozen my willingness to keep on.... # /etc/printcap # # DO NOT EDIT! MANUAL CHANGES WILL BE LOST! # This file is autogenerated by printconf-backend during lpd init. # # Hand edited changes can be put in /etc/printcap.local, and will be included. dj720c:\ :ml=0:\ :mx=0:\ :sd=/var/spool/lpd/dj720c:\ :af=/var/spool/lpd/dj720c/dj720c.acct:\ :sh:\ :lp=/dev/lp0:\ :lpd_bounce=true:\ :if=/usr/share/printconf/util/mf_wrapper: ############################################################################### ## Everything below here is included verbatim from /etc/printcap.local ## ############################################################################### # printcap.local # # This file is included by printconf's generated printcap, # and can be used to specify custom hand edited printers. ??? 05 4? 2002 17:59?Matt Doughty ????????: > rpm -qa | grep lp > or > man lpr > > --Matt > > On Fri, Apr 05, 2002 at 05:51:46PM +0900, Eric O.
