[tlug] Solaris 8

I have been playing around with Solaris 8 (02/2002) I installed the core
packages, then some CDE packages. This is where I am having trouble.

The dt login works fine. I enter my name/passwd the "Solaris Welcome" screen 
shows up, then the purple Solaris background appears for a second, then
disappears and I'm left with a blank screen. 

So I installed Windowmaker. With Windowmaker, the icons are visible, but no
background. I guess I need to install some package that will view images.
I looked through all the packages I have, but couldn't find the one I need.

Any help is appreciated
