dear everybody,

i am new to this list as well and like to join the nomikai. now i'm not sure
what all these name lists mean. do i have to make a reservation? if so,
please count me in.

while i'm at it let me quickly introduce myself: i'm mario luoni, working
with a start-up in gaienmae. we're working on software tools for measuring
video and still picture quality on the application level. i'm using linux
more for fun than for my job, although i do have a linux box right next to
me here. one of my current (private) projects is to set up a linux-based
home audio system using wireless technology for remote control.
