I'm trying to get a Debian (woody) box to obtain an IP address from my ADSL modem. The same box (same NIC, same MAC) works fine under Win95 OSR2 but under linux 2 out of 3 times pump just waits and fail after some time. This happens both with ifup and using pump directly. Has anyone run into this? Is pump doing something different from Win95? Stephen
