Superblock on Linux?

Yes, it does.  Hint: use bash functions, not shell scripts, for those
tiny utilities.  You can really use up a lot of disk with them with
16kB alloc blocks, and unless you're a REAL hacker, most likely your
entire .bashrc will fit in just one.
