Right, I've now got most of the gcc and glib files up and running so that most ./configure scripts run perfectly, well almost anyway! Two out of three isn't bad. On the last one /bin/ld cannot find -ll. Here is the config.log:
configure:1214: checking for flex configure:1214: checking for lex configure:1247: checking for flex configure:1281: checking for yywrap in -ll configure:1300: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 conftest.c -ll 1>&5 /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ll collect2: ld returned 1 exit status configure: failed program was: #line 1289 "configure" #include "confdefs.h" /* Override any gcc2 internal prototype to avoid an error. */ /* We use char because int might match the return type of a gcc2 builtin and then its argument prototype would still apply. */ char yywrap(); int main() { yywrap() ; return 0; } configure:1323: checking lex output file root
Any idea what it is looking for? I don't recognise -ll at all. Thanks for your collective continued patience.
