RE: How can I include a subject header when sending email like mail <email addy> < <filename>




on solaris you can use mailx, or you can use /usr/ucb/mail which works just
like the linux one.  Well, at least WRT the -s option...

Not on every platform "mail" client allows '-s' syntax. I.e. on Solaris 
you'd need to use "mailx  -s subject" .
