last time I used it, it made my system as slow as Windows. It has a lot of overhead, being coded in C++, which is a less efficient language than C is. All the GNOME stuff is built in C, and in my opinion, it's written better and it looks better. It certainly has better performance on my UNIX boxes, and I have quite a few... ----------------------------------------------------- Scott M. I need to know before I use one of these. If the answer is "because I can't use CD drive", then the answer is too simple, I need some better reason for not using KDE !!
