Hi all I've installed Mandrake 8.0 on my laptop (6.0 was better I think but life goes on). There's a daemon, kamp-idled who keeps CPU busy all the time. If the computer is idle, it uses 40-70% of its time. When I run something else it goes to sleep. If it's a normal behavior (as its name suggests), what is the purpose of it? And what is it doing? Kernel 2.4.3 (mdk), laptop Compaq Armada 1500c. Thanks Viktor
