I used 'ksysv' for the first time the other day to get NFS going on bootup. Seemed to work pretty well, and NFS does indeed get started the way I wanted it to. Something puzzles me though: I now get error messages concerning 'atd' when I boot, as you can see in the last two lines here: May 23 17:12:34 tangrending netfs: Mounting other filesystems succeeded May 23 17:12:34 tangrending nfs: Starting NFS services: succeeded May 23 17:12:37 tangrending nfs: rpc.rquotad startup succeeded May 23 17:12:37 tangrending nfs: rpc.mountd startup succeeded May 23 17:12:37 tangrending kernel: Installing knfsd (copyright (C) 1996 okir@example.com). May 23 17:12:38 tangrending nfs: rpc.nfsd startup succeeded May 23 17:12:38 tangrending identd: identd startup succeeded May 23 17:12:38 tangrending atd: fatal: Extra argument start. May 23 17:12:38 tangrending rc: Starting atd failed I had a look at the manpage for 'atd', but didn't see anything that helped. What's going on here?
