You marvel when a keyboard still works after just one little year? My most heavily used keyboard is a Northgate. (Remember them? The company that promised to "Cut the baloney", with a photo of what they fondly thought was Bologna but was just salami.) I think it was first plugged into my 486/33, which became a 486/133, then a 586/133, and now a 586/650. The keyboard seems to thrive on its diet of hairs, scurf, and small insects. The last time I looked, you could buy a replica from http://www.lueckdatasystems.com/hardware/omnikey/ (at a stiff price); unfortunately the site seems to have disappeared, or perhaps is just temporarily indisposed.
