Frank, Perhaps the python httplib module does this? If not, RFC 2109 has details on cookies: http://www.cis.ohio-state.edu/htbin/rfc/rfc2109.html Seems a bit old, though. There may be something newer in, e.g. the HTTP 1.1 spec.
