I finally found an XFConfig formula that removes that shimmering that was occurring on the Fujitsu Biblio FMV-5133 NA6/W laptop that I mentioned some weeks ago. I found it while installing Redhat 7.0 which features several Fujitsu monitor choices with the Xconfigurator that it comes with. "Fujitsu FMV-DP997" was the one that worked (that's different from the one that turns up with automatic probes...) If anyone ever needs the exact formula for that laptop, let me know.
