>I need to get a few computer books and was wondering if anyone here >ordered books from Amazon to get delivered to Tokyo? I want to know if >the times the quote for delivery are correct. I have ordered books from Amazon before. I don't remember the exact amount of time it took to get here, but I don't remember being disappointed. >On a similar note, can someone please tell me the biggest book stores in >Tokyo apart from Kinakuya which carry books in english. Two good stores I think are Maruzen(丸善) and Yaesu(八重洲) both near Tokyo Station. Also, the Tower Records in Shibuya has probably the cheapest English books that I have come across in Tokyo. The problem is the selection is not great. If you are looking for a novel or something entertaining, Tower is the better place because of the price. If you are looking for a technical book or textbook, you had better go to Maruzen or Yaesu. Rob
