LPM-SCSI2 card and mps110

About a year ago I wrote a series of messages
to the list regarding this scsi card. When
inserted, the system tries to load qlogic_cs
(apparently a driver very similar to the
one that the card requires) and hangs. One
is forced to cut the power and reboot, fscking
all the way. I have finally been able to get
this thing working, thanks to Frank Bennett,
Shimpei Yamashita and other kind souls.

It turns out that mps110 (a Macnica driver)
is what is needed.

Here's the URL:
http://www.st.rim.or.jp/~adats/WL/Files/index.html
Here's the file:
mps110-3.0.13.tar.gz
(one needs to use pcmcia-cs-3.0.13)

Here's the original driver that works with 2.0.x
kernels and pcmcia-cs-2.9.0 :
http://www.st.rim.or.jp/~adats/WL/Files/mps110.tar.gz

It seems that some of the pcmcia-cs rpms and/or srpms
put out by Kondara and Suse (maybe other distributions,
as well) have this driver built in, so it may be possible
for one to use those distributions or those rpms, rather
than patch a standard pcmcia-cs.

* There is a similar sounding card called LPM-SCSI2E
(the "e" on the end is the "e" of "hah! you thought this
would be Easy"). Despite the resemblance, this card is a
different animal entirely. It requires the ninja_cs driver.
The driver can also be found at the URL noted above.
