Tony,

dmalloc (http://dmalloc.com/) can display memory that has not
been properly freed. The memory free function is more of a side
line, though. It is more focused on catching programming errors
like bad pointer arithmetic. It has helped me track down some 
nasty little bugs, though, and I recommend it.
