I did not try to ping, but recently I have seen this quite often when
connecting with Windows to GOL. I thought this was related to too many users
in the net or something, but now I start to wonder. In fact, just when I
wanted to send the message before nothing seemed to happen. Now let's see
whether I can send something now.
