Minor Holiday Crisis



Happy Umi no Hi!

Or it was, until my wife unplugged the linux box...
It was basically my fault:
"Can I unplug either one of these?"
"Sure - NO WAIT, NOT _THAT_ ONE - DAAAAAARGH!"

Anyway, I seem to be having some problems with my routing table now.
I can't get an internet connection, or even ping my gateway.
I'm running RedHat 6.1, and am connected via cable modem.
My static IP is 210.228.3.165, and the gateway is 210.228.3.254.

My current routing table looks like this:
Destination     Gateway         Genmask         Flags Metric Ref    Use Iface
210.228.3.0     *               255.255.255.0   U     0      0        0 eth0
loopback        *               255.0.0.0       U     0      0        0 lo
default         210.228.3.254   0.0.0.0         UG    1      0        0 eth0

I get Destination Host Unreachable when I try to ping the gateway IP.
I can ping 210.228.3.165, and ping -b 210.228.3.255 successfully.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why I can't ping the gateway?
Perhaps some files got messed up when the machine was unplugged?
