tlug: ls colorful

Hello everybody,

I know this question will sound pretty basic but... I'm trying to make my ls
command looks cool as I've seen in every kind of screenshoot around the
Internet. I know that doing "ls --color" I can get it, but I don't want to
do that all the time (actually I use to do "ls --color -l|more").

How can I make turn that options in default? I tried to edit the /etc/bashrc
inserting the line "ls="ls --color"" but it didn't work... Do I need to
recompile ls command?

Thanks in advance

Marcos
