I can think of a certain .ac.jp domain that bounces mail solely because
their qmail doesn't like some detail pretty regularly.  Believe me, 
if I had an account there, some people would not be able to mail me.
Not because their mail *could* not be delivered, but because the MTA
*would* not deliver it.  IMHO that is not a Good Thang.
