tlug: Computer Publishing in Japan?

Hello, all.
My publisher appear to be renegotiating their dealings in Japan, and they
would like someone to do a report on potential distributors/co-publishers.
Here's the details of what they want - if you think you can do this,
get in touch with me and I'll introduce you to the right person.

> Have you any contacts in the Eastern Capital who'd be willing to write a 10
> - 15 page report for, say, £500, on the computer publishing
> business in Japan? Either in Japanese or English is fine.
>
> The sort of info we're looking for is : All the players, sales volumes,
> pricing patterns, distribution networks and lock-ins (eg. presence of ethnic
> Korean muscle in the book distribution business - I've a huinch tat there
> must be, given Son Masayoshi's phenomenal success) and information on
> strategies pursued by US based computer publishers like PTR, Ad-Wes and ORA,
> along with sales breakdowns on selected titles.
>
> If you can imagine such a person/agency, could you put them in touch with
> me?

Thanks,
Simon
