Unfortunately, the sparc floppy boot code doesn't work in the same manner as
that of the i386.  You'd have to create a boot floppy with a disklabel,
get the boot blocks right, yadda yadda yadda.

IMHO the fastest way to do what you want is to grab the sparc rescue set
from ftp://vger.rutgers.edu/pub/linux/Sparc/rescue/rescue-1.0.tgz, dd the
images off to floppy, and boot from them ... they do pretty much what you
want.
