First, either my ISP is having certain problems or it's very, very quiet
around here. No list traffic for the last two days, is that right?

Second, I have a spare pre-release copy of the 2nd edition of Wrox
Press' *excellent* Beginning Linux Programming. If anyone wants to
borrow it, let me know and we can set up a round-robin. I can heartily
recommend the all-new Perl chapter, for starters. :)
