I haven't done hard figure comparisons, but my personal experience
indicates that Accelerated X is significantly better and supports more
cards.  Metro X would always lock up the machine on exiting X on the
Cirrus Logic-powered machine that I tested it on, although it worked okay
on the S3-powered machine.  However, on the S3, it was not noticably
faster than XFree86.
