First what you mention above will just be guidelines that the PJE
installer will use to pick certain packages to install. PJE is a
collection of packages in either rpm or .tgz format. They can always
be installed in the regular way that rpm's or .tgz's are installed.
In addition PJE includes an installer (which is buggy). They things
that you listed above are not individual packages, but guidelines for
PJE. For example if you select JX11, then the installer will
automatically select at least one X font to install for you. You
can go down the list and choose more if you want, but the installer
will automatially give you at least one. Also things like if you
select Canna, then you will be forbidden from selecting Wnn related
packages.

Also, as far as I know PJE is still not supporting Glibc, so you can not
use it with RH 5.0 and above. But you can use JRPM which contains
a lot of the same packages, but doesn't have an installer.

JRPM can be found at:

Well, right now I have class, so I will finish writing my advice later.
In the meantime, if you have any questions on the above go ahead and
send them and I will try to answer them when I write again.
