Strange, I have many kernels (2.0.34-2.0.36 various, with and without
modules) on my system, and have never changed the "System.map" and
"module-info" files in /boot. There's only one of each; those provided
by Redhat. I don't think they're needed for any custom kernels, only for
the provided RedHat kernel. What it does with them I have no idea. Also,
grep doesn't find references to them in any of the directories under
/etc on my system, which contains all the boot scripts.
