There are window manager-specific methods; refer to the window manager 
docs.

For most X programs (mule as the example)

   mule -geometry +0+0

puts it in the upper left corner,

   mule -geometry +10+10

puts it offset slightly down and to the right, and

   mule -geometry -0-0

puts the lower right corner of the mule frame in the lower right corner 
of the screen.

If I expect to edit the contents of a page, I normally use w3.el.  Try
"info w3" or "C-h i w3" in Emacs for more information.  If that
doesn't work, you probably don't have the package.
