i've heard that there will be an 'emergency nomikai' in December...

Anyway, why don't we just go ahead and hold the dang election at that
time?  Isn't it about time we stop putting it off?  Or is there a reason
that we have done so up until now?  Contrary to what some people may
think, I *do not* want TLUG to become the "Turbo Linux Users' Group" and
have only TL users here, alienate all of the 'old guard', etc.  We should
get our house in order, put the two lists back into one, and try to get
along with each other instead of having every second or third post be a
complaint about wasted bandwidth :)
