I still find this very annoying, that ISDN is different. I learned
another thing thats "different" today. I'm looking at getting a
multi-BRI line ISDN router. Acsend MAX 1800 look like it should do the
job. Ahh, "what about PIAFS support" I ask the vendor:

Vendor: "Well, for an 8 port board that will be 1,200,000 yen.

Me: Thats bit expensive, I thought that PIAFS was just a Japanese
variant of HDLC? Most single port TA's include it. Why does it
    require extra hardware?

Vendor: Ascend is a hardware company.

Me: Cisco does in software, I think....

Vendor: Cisco is more of a software company.

Me: Noruhodo.

Arrggg.

Sorry, I had to get that off my chest. I feel much better now. :)
