Yeah, I just encountered that myself.  The thing that really burned me
(besides such a stupid thing.  I bet the U.S. (read "idiotic") export controls
are behind this somehow) is that the online order form lets you go all the
through the order sequence before it checks to see where you are, then shoots
you down.  They could at least put a notice about this on their web site, and
maybe have the order routine check your location before you fill in the form.

Let's hit them with complaint mail from Japan.
