Should work.  If not, tweak it 'til it does.

Well, if, like many people, your /var is a single file system and both
the log and the mail spool are there, this ain't gonna work if the FS
is full.

If they're not, but that logging script is responsible for filling
your log's FS, it can probably fill your mail spool's FS too.
