Agreed, of course.  If the massive influx of Linux users included a fair
amount of coders, then perhaps we wouldn't lose as much.  Unfortunately,
though, such does not seem to be the case.

That rant isn't in the manpage anymore ... I think it was moved to the
texinfo pages, of which I haven't a copy right now.
