That explains it.  I don't use my Windows machine for much except web surfing
(wish it wasn't so, but the Windows version of Nutscrape is a lot better, and
plugins are readily available) and talking on Internet phone.  Home HTML
writing, trying to find time to study C, etc., are all done on my TurboLinux
box.  Oh, and I make graphics on my Windows machine, too.  Even if GIMP could
do Japanese, it would still be a far cry from Paint Shop Pro for a lot of the
stuff I need to do.  My graphics lineup is basically PSP on Windows and Image
Magick on Linux.  GIMP hasn't entered the picture yet, so to speak :-)

Never tried Quake, but I've played Doom 95 on Windows.  Kinda like it,
especially after a bad day at work :-)

I've heard it's good.  I have an old version of . . . I forgot . . . but it's
lousy.  CleanSweep is from Quarterdeck, right?  They make good stuff.  I used
QEMM and Desqview way back when.
