you need to use /etc/sendmail.cw, not /var/mail/sendmail.cw, on a TL
system (and I thought on RH, too?)

er, actually it's ./etc/mail/sendmail.cw on 8.9.0, it was /etc/sendmail.cw
on previous versions.

hm, that COULD be a dns problem... I'm not completely sure, though, so my
advice is to just move sendmail.cw to the right place and restart
sendmail.
