Re: tlug: TL 2.0 Released/Members Discount!

Hi,

I have only been on the TLUG mailing list a few months now, so I'm not
really sure of the policy, but I hope that you don't find Scott's
blatant advertisement for TurboLinux offensive.... One of his few
faults is his over-enthusiasm. :)

We'll donate a couple of copies of TurboLinux and Applixware to
TLUG, so you're welcome to try them out that way too. Please remember
that Applixware is a commercial program, and there are several pieces of
commercial software on the TurboLinux Pro discs -- you're welcome to
copy and keep the entire system on your computer as long as you delete
the commercial stuff. If you're not sure which are commercial
programs, please ask.

[We will offer a 10% discount to anyone who wants to buy it *at* TLUG
meetings (if that's OK with TLUG). Actually, you can generally get
software for 20%-30% off SRP at the stores, but as the publisher here,
we're not supposed to undercut our resellers. Anyhow, if you're
interested in getting something from us, please let me or Scott know
before the meetings and we'll bring you a copy.]

Again, apologies for the crass posts.

Cliff
